La Crawfish Shack in Houston

The crawfish had great flavor, lots of chili and dry spices in the house seasoning. The spicy is REALLY spicy, we ordered the next 3 pounds in medium to tone it down. Average size and a little on the pricier side of what you can get around Houston. We had snow crab legs too that were also good and properly cooked.

When we first started going to LA Crawfish Shack the customer service was great, food was delicious and customer service was grand. Mike was AWESOME. Now it seems like they are no longer aiming to please the customers. I wanted to have a party there this Friday with 20+ people. $$$ right?! Well the lady I spoke to (of Asian descent) stated that she would not...WOULD NOT...set up tables until all the party was there. I stated that I knew that but since it is a surprise, it would be great to set up at least 20mins prior. She got rude and started over-talking me and I hung up. We normally eat there 2-3 times in the week...but NOW...GOODBYE!

Love the fried broccoli and corn! Shrimp & fish basket well seasoned.

Food was great and delicious but our server could have been more attentive.

The food was not seasoned and it tasted very bad, on top of that they wanted me to pay for food I didn't eat. I think they should stand on the quality of the taste of their food when its not good to the customers they should take a loss on it and honor their customers. I never eat there again.

They didn't have the Cajun grilled lobster when I went back for it and didn't have the crab legs on a prior visit. The waiter didn't add my corn until I asked him about it..the waiter didn't give me a pen to sign my check..I had to ask another waiter

Best seasoning and great crawfish sizes around crawfish season!! I travel 2 hrs just to come eat here. Love it!! No other place like this

The crawfish are small the snow crabs are good. I order the seasonings was mixed and it was full of flavor.o wouldnt buy the crawfish

I past the place many times. Since I was craving seafood I decided to stop in and try it. Got a cup of seafood gumbo and catfish poboy. I was not disappointed. Will be back.

The crawfish was very good. Left with mouth on FIRE. I will be back. The waiter was not that good, but the food overshadowed that.

I Wasn't a fan of their crawfish nor the sauce. It was thick and had an aftertaste. Tbh, it was an asian twist to the original creole taste of crawfish.The environment was nice but customer service was lacking. Lots of parking.

Great crawfish. I am Cajun and this is my go to location for crawfish. The to go service is excellent. Katie is a very pleasant worker.

Great service from hostess and the manager on duty today. My table was giving them a really hard time, but they kept their cool and acted super professionally. I respect them for that and I appreciated them. I dont know the name of the young lady with the red shirt that had a pony tail and the manager. But, I just wanted to thank them because they did an incredible job. Food was also good and hot. If I wasn't just visiting down here. This place would be my 1# go to. 👍👍

Pretty good seafood, just needs more adult beverage selection and service is not good at, all I guess because they are busy one can understand.

I tried the gumbo and catfish with dirty rice,. The gumbo was tasty and the catfish was fried to perfection. The dirty rice was unique. Service is excellent.

Great, hot & flavorful seafood. The catfish and shrimp are great. I haven’t tried their crawfish yet but when the mood strikes I will be there in attendance.

I love the snow crab legs with the house spice with corn, sausage, and potatoes. Fried Broccoli is the bomb along with the fried shrimp. This is a nice lil hole in the wall with great seafood at a reasonable price point.

The service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. My mother found a NAIL(Screw) in her Gumbo! When we needed anything, our server acted as though he didn't see nor hear us several times and he never came to check to see if we needed anything. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL AND I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!

Food is average/ok but they nickel and dime the hell out of you. Charge for gloves when you order boiled seafood, charge for lemons on water and boiled seafood.... all kinds of other charges that would be free at any other crawfish joint. Frozen crawfish is 6.99 today while fresh is 8.99. Everywhere else in the city love crawfish is 5.99 right now. Will not be back!!! When I figure out how to post a photo I’ll add it!

I like spicy and it was very light in seasoning... other than that it was good area and staff were nice and professional.

The service was pretty fast, the stuff is always keeping tables and floor clean, the tables are ready for you, my waitress was super friendly. I really enjoyed the bread with herbs and cheese, the lunch special I got had to option of salad or hummus, so hummus made a great combination. Substituting the rice was a great idea, so try that. Chicken was very juicy and tasty.

This place treats me right every time I go! This is THE place to eat, from a Louisianian.Great food, gumbo, seafood. Every dish I’ve tried has been very good.

Garlic butter crab was good and flavorful but didn't taste fresh. I got it to go so there was no chance to speak with anyone.

The seafood gumbo was good the Crawfish was good. The dry rub cajun wings were not the business. They were fried extra hard and the seasonings appeared to be poured from the container.

I love getting my shrimp and crawfish here! It's so delicious! Have been coming here for 2 years now, and their tilapia w/ rice is the best, and their catfish basket is so good too!❤️

The food tastes great. We all got fried fish and shrimp. However, the bathrooms were soooooo dirty. We went in there to wash our hands before eating and it turned me off from eating there. Guys, please take time to at least wipe down the bathroom doors, stalls, soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser. They were so dusty and had streaks of stuff on there. If my friend had not convinced me that the food was so good, I would have left. Other than that, food was good. Waitress was okay.

BEST CRAWFISH PLACE I HAVE EVER TRIED!! HANDS DOWN. DELICIOUS SPICY SAUCE I GET EXTRA SPICY PLUS THEY ARE SUPER JUICY. CUT SEASONED SAUSAGE THAT ARE ALSO SUPER GREAT. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I would recommend to anyone looking to eat crawfish, even the non spicy is really great
